During geological research work, the company identified the presence of Rare Earths in its areas, which significantly expanded its mineral portfolio and positioned Cabo Verde at the forefront of strategic minerals essential to the new energy transition economy.

The edge of the volcanic complex
Located on the edge of the Poços de Caldas volcanic complex in southern Minas Gerais, the Cabo Verde Mineração project currently encompasses 57 mining rights owned by the company and its controlling companies,
totaling an area of approximately 91,000 hectares between the Minas Gerais municipalities of Cabo Verde, Muzambinho, Botelhos and Campestre.

MINERAL PORTFOLIO
On the edge of the Poços de Caldas Complex, Cabo Verde Mineração identified anomalous concentrations of over 3,000 ppm of TREO in its areas.
RARE EARTHS are essential for technologies such as electric vehicles, wind turbines and electronic devices. The discovery positions the company among the most promising projects in the supply of critical minerals for the global energy transition.
