LUMP IRON ORE
High-grade granulated iron ore with low levels of contaminants, ideal for direct feeding into medium and large-scale blast furnaces. Material with a content above 64% Fe with low levels of contaminants.
HEMATITINE
High-grade iron ore with low contaminant levels, ideal for feeding small blast furnaces. Material with a content above 62% Fe with low contaminant levels.
SYNTER FEED
High-grade iron ore with low contaminant levels, ideal product for sintering feed. Product with a high percentage greater than 1 mm and with a content above 60% Fe.
HIGH CONTENT AND LOW CONTAMINANTS
Cabo Verde Mineração has a Mining Ordinance published by the National Mining Agency (ANM) and a current environmental license to produce up to 300,000 tons of iron ore per year. The extracted ore is of the magnetite type, with a high metallic content and low levels of Silica (SiO2) and Alumina (Al2O3). Due to its quality and granulometry, it is widely used by large processing and steel industries in Brazil.
Dry process
Extraction is carried out by mechanical means, without the use of explosives, followed by crushing and granulometric classification. The beneficiation process occurs dry, without the use of water or chemical reagents, which eliminates the need for tailings dams.
